The Nation of Islam WILL NOT recognize nor accept Holy Names adopted by persons desiring to rid themselves of slave-names. Buying names or changing them through the court WILL NOT be accepted. The rule is that only names given by The Honorable Elijah Muhammad will be recognized. Your names are not to be bought, they are free. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad gives some of His laborers names Himself, which are recognized by Allah, to keep them from being called by slavenames. He has the freedom to do this. You are very foolish to go and buy names when they are free. You make a fool of yourself when you buy these names from the devil. I am certain they laugh at your ignorance. From reading of this notice, any one who adopts names without permission will be penalized.
You are not to put X's behind Holy Names. The Holy Name is free within itself. When you place an X behind it you are X-ing yourself out of the Holy Name. The best thing is that you keep away from trying to order and correct these names yourself. You will get a name as it is written and as Allah told the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. The Bible teaches in Revelations that the judgment cannot proceed unless you have your Holy Names.
