To the Ministry Class of No. 1 Michigan

As-Salaam Alaikum

My Dearest Brothers, Followers and Laborers with me in the Name of our Saviour the Almighty Deliverer of the Lost Founds, W.D. Fard Mohammed; whom the world has not known as yet, but will shortly. It is you and I who has said that we know Him and are His witnesses to make known His name among those who are sleeping in sin and ignorance; an who enter the school of preparation that we may be found worthy of Him when He returns to put us on His book as Laborers fitted for the cause of righteousness.

Give ear my Brothers, and listen diligently to these my words and forget them not. Islam is not to be played with and those who teach it must forever be mindful of the LAW, because ignorance of the law is no excuse. Now we are not ignorant of the Law, because we received it not by prophecy nor was it sent to us in a book that we might say we could not understand it or that we failed to receive it. No, but Allah has come to us Himself, to each us out of His mouth in the person of our Saviour FARD MOHAMMED; whom we have seen with our eyes and heard with our ears, and our hands have handled Him lest we have excuses and say He was not real. This blessed and only friend of we who were lost, called me into His ministry in August 1932. Not for the works that I done, nor for the education, for I had neither. But for His own cause, that I should hear the world of His mouth and go and teach others of His Majesty, and wonders that He is about to work in the wilderness of North America where we now live.

He Himself, knowing the times and seasons of all things put upon me a great work to accomplish, but not without a great reward at the end; that is if I keep His Law and Commandments and obey without priding myself against Him who sent me. Now this did He charge me with, to go and make many ministers and send them in all of the cities and teach Islam as He has given it to me. Adding nothing to it, nor even taking a atom from it, lest we dilute His Holy word and be found guilty of falsifying the truth on His return.

Now this have I tried to do, to make Him someone to help in the work of the Ministry, that His name may be known among those that know not Him nor His word. Now, remember brethren how I warned you of how to keep evil from ever entering the class by never permitting that hateful thing called jealousy and envy ever once be named among  you. Seek not one another's faults until we look carefully into our own, because he that seeks his brothers faults and not his own, always stands in danger of judgment.

Remember if one of you has a fault and he is warned of it and the brother repents and asks you for forgiveness and acknowledges all his wrongs, then we must fast and pray to our Saviour for a protection against all of our faults and teach us whether our brother is right or not, and if so the Saviour will tell you in His own way; but do not tell Him in our prayers to show  you His answer in a way you desire because He knows our hearts and He does whatsoever  He will.

A minister should not make a mistake in teaching, because such mistakes will do great harm in misleading the people who are blind to the truth. Again dear Brothers, if we acknowledge our mistakes at once to our listeners that we are teaching and they pardon you, then you may proceed; but it does not show that we are very wise when we are making mistakes before the public. So let us be careful and be sure we know Islam before we go out teaching that which we are only trying to learn ourselves. If we be children going to school, seeking wisdom from out teacher, then let us be submissive to him and ask that which we do not understand.

MINISTERIAL QUALIFICATIONS

In entering the Ministry class, our first duty is examine ourselves to see if we are qualified person for such Divine calling.

We must come up to the following, laid down by (Prophets).

The husband of one wife; having children that believe, who are not riotous, or unruly; must be blameless as teh servant of Allah; not self willed, nor soon angry; not greed of filthy lucre; must be given to hospitality; a lover of good; sober minded; just ; righteous, self controlled (temperate) Holding fast to the truth which is the Teaching of Islam; that we may be able to convince the gainsayers. We are servants of our Saviour, quickened with energy by the truth at His mouth. It is right for me to be mindful of you all on this behalf because I love you and have you in my heart day and night. Being well pleased and desirous of you, I have and continue to impart to you the true teachings of Islam as I have received it of our Saviour. And again unfolding to you the true meaning of prophecies as our Saviour gives me leaves of these mysteries which have been hidden and are still hidden to many of us who have seen the salvation of Him our Deliverer.

It is a great thing to be thankful of, because through prophecies of old is made our path which we trod. Knowing this, then let us be all that is required of us so that we may be examples to others by making ourselves an example to the followers. Giving no occasion of stumbling in anything, that our ministry be no blamed. Again, let us remember that our Saviour's Greatest Desire is that we be second to none in all the earth, when it comes to wisdom or anything else, but proving ourselves equal. For this cause, we must pray always that we make perfect our light of wisdom daily.

Rejoice and be glad for the light is upon you, and you do see and you do understand. Remember the ten questions of number one lesson. The second question asks, "Why did Mossa ave a hard time to civilize the Devil 2,000 B.C.?" Because they were savages; they had lived without any teaching of themselves for two thousand years and lost all knowledge of Yacob's history which he had written for their welfare and education and how to master the Original Man. They were living a beast life when Mossa found them, and we are in the same condition. Only we are not walking on all fours. As Minister Sultan Mohammad said in his letter to me this week; now for nearly four hundred years we have been lost from the Holy Temple of Allah and the Nation of Islam.

We are following this devil (The Beast) and have completely lost the knowledge of ourselves, the right way of our native home, and Holy Religion of Islam; which taught us how to master this wicked Yacob made devil, and we are not living in every respect like the beast.

It took signs and wonders to make the devils believe that Mossa was teaching of the true God, Jehovah, Allah, whom they had called God Almighty. They thought He was a mystery God, and they could never hope to see Him nor here His voice, but Mossa proved to them the power of Jehovah Allah, how well He could be seen and heard. They did not want the proof of Mossa's God anymore, and they heard Mossa and let him teach them. Remember how the Bible teaches that Allah told them, "When I have sent my great signs and wonders in the land of Egypt and brought them through the flood then shall they know that I am God, Allah." Then comes the New Testament, condemning them for their unbelief after seeing all these wonders of Allah. John 3:14 makes it plain, "As Mossa lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so shall the son of Man be lifted up (Lost-Found will be civilized)." Rev. 16:11, 21 conclude the lost-found rebellion against Allah in the midst of plagues.

So rejoice; the day is breaking upon us who fear His power. He shall come, and will not delay His coming. Be watchful and sober minded.

As-Salaam-Alaikum.

Your Brother and Servant of Allah,

Prophet Elijah Mohammad
