Enemies of Muhammad

Jamil Diab came to the United States in 1948 from Jerusalem, Palestine in Arabia.

In the early 1950's, he became the first Arab principal, also an instructor in Arabic at University of Islam, under the Divine Leadership of Messenger Elijah Muhammad. He was never allowed to become a Registered Muslim in the Nation of Islam. As an employee of  the University of Islam, he earned $100 per week. He was fired from the University of Islam for attempting to dilute the Messenger Elijah Muhammad's teachings with so-called "Orthodox Islam" at the school.

Later in that same decade Diab turned to become an enemy of  Messenger Elijah Muhammad. He began calling himself an Imam and organized the Islamic Center on 1002 East 75th Street in Chicago.  Some members of the Ahmadiyyat group left to join with Diab, because he allowed blacks and whites in his organization. He exploited  and capitalized on the gullibility of the so-called Negroes who felt that such an association of blacks and whites was prestigious.
