"Then they raised up to take that place that they had not been chosen for by almighty God Allah. Going around lying. Telling the people that they are something that God has chosen, themselves. And that they are to take the place of the Messenger."
Greetings to you. I am Elijah Muhammad, The Preacher of Freedom, Justice and Equality to my people, here in the Western Hemisphere, in the United States of America, who has been lost from their own people for 400 years.
Now they have been found by Almighty God, Allah and found by Almighty God, Allah, in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, To Whom Praises are due forever.
Allah holds out nothing for the hypocrite. According to the Holy Quran, but the path to hell. And the Holy Qur'an teaches that He appoints for hypocrites a companion of devils to keep them going astray so that they will meet the chastisement that they justly due.
A good and true Muslim, according to the Holy Qur'an and the Teachings of Almighty God, Allah, to me will not take anything to do or show sympathy of love for a hypocrite, though they may be their own near of kin: their parents, their sisters, their brothers and their own children.
This is taught in the Holy Quran and also taught in the Bible by Jesus; wherein that he says, in Matthew, that "if you would be my disciples, then you must first hate your mother, brother, sister, and your own beloved ones and pick up your cross and come follow me."
Jesus taught his diciples and the world to even hate those that did not believe in Almighty God, Allah, and he as His Messenger. And to keep away from them and not even to take them for friends.
The same goes for the Holy Qur'an. The Holy Qur'an teaches us against even befriending a disbeliever or hypocrite for they are the friends of the devil and not the friends of God, nor the Messenger, nor those who follow and believe the Messenger. They hate all.
When they turn back they hate God and denounces Him as being a false God or not the real God and hate the Messenger and those who are with the Messenger. This is true and is going on at this very minute.
This is the Judgment of the world. And I would like to, further, read to you a few verses of this chapter, before we get started, on the the subject that you are living in the last days and the Judgment, now, approaches. And that you should be careful of what you believe and be careful in where and to whom that you may accept for your friend.
"In the Name of Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful." Here's the prayer. The first verse is only few words: "I, Allah, am the Best Knower." Second verse: "The Revelation of the book, there is no doubt in it, is from the Lord of the Worlds."
The Holy Qur'an is universally recognized as being a divine revelation and everyone, of scholars, whether he be a Believer in Allah and Islam or not, they recognize the truth of this great sacred Scripture, which has passed through nearly founteen centuries, without alteration or any of the original taken from it in its pure language, Arabic.
The third verse says, "Or do they say he has forged it. Nay it is the truth from thy Lord that thy mayest warn a people to whom no warner has come before thee that they may walk aright."
This chapter was given to me to study, from Our Saviour, Master Fard Muhammad, the Almighty God in Person, to whom Praise is due forever, along with several other chapters in the Holy QurÕan. And from that time, I have studied them and have, now, understood most of them to the very letter and spirit of its meanings and place where it should be.
All Messengers ( Prophets, Apostles) of the past we find that the people that did not believe in them considered them to be liars, and God that sent them also was not, never, believed by these opponents of the Prophets of the past. They all was criticsied and mocked and shameful things said about them. And critizied to the world in order that world may see them and understand them as they really is, as disbeliever in God and in His Messengers and in the Message in which they bring.
And they will say that he has forged it or he did this of himself. But the third verse warns us that it is the truth from thy Lord that the Messenger may warn the people to whom no warner has come before, that they may walk upright.
Here I would like to say to you that the evil plannings and the evil talk of disbelievers and hypocrites of the Apostles and Prophets of the past always came to an end and was destroyed by divine Judgment against them.
You see, today, that these things, now are coming to pass as I have been preaching to you for thirty-three long years. And you know that I have taught you the truth. Today would like to take God's place and judge me unworthy of His Messenger. You violent and disceivers and disbelievers desires all these things today.
This is the time that you should burst forth in your rage against the truth and the truth bearer, The Messenger of Allah, that God may make you an example to the world that he is with me, Elijah Muhammad, and that you are with the devil, whom that you probably didn't know and don't know now, maybe, until the chastisement of Almighty God overtakes you suddenly as He has taken those who was before like you. Suddenly, when you think not it comes upon you and will destroy you.
I say, this kind of chastisement doesn't take the life out of you, but brings you to shame and disgrace as you wish your wicked tongue and language would do for the Messenger. God just reverses it and brings it upon you. And then make you to live in dispair and want. He makes you to live in grief and sorrow until you're brought to the grave.
This God Almighty give to you an example about 1935 here in Chicago by a brother of mine, whom I had trusted to be my own brother believer in Almighty God, Allah, and His religion, Islam. Many of the Chicagoans saw the chastisement upon that brother of mine, at that time, whose name came from Almighty God, Allah, Kalat Muhammad. And who had pretended that he was with me and turned overnight to become my enemy and a hypocrite of Almighty God, Allah, and the Nation of Islam.
And the chastisement came upon him in his rage one Monday morning. Cast him down on the floor and prostrated him without him being able to even to blink his eye, being unable to move hand or feet. As a man petrified, is the way he became. This condition often struck him from time to time, until death took him away. He often would pass by and say evil remarks in going pass my house. He oft times would pass us while we were in our meetings in the Temple of Islam, at that time on 43rd Street. I think the number was 843.
And that man, who surprised me, that God cast down in my eyes. And He had given to me a chapter on him and those who were with him, about a year before it happened and warned me to read and study the chapter quick because the thing that was in the chapter that was predicting the overthow and the crushing of my own brother and those hypocrites who were with him, that I loved.
The same goes today. And those that is turning against me today, becoming hypocrites, will meet with the same fate.
I have always loved my people. I have always loved my family. I have always shown it in all that I did towards them or do towards them in the way of good. I have always helped them with my bread and with my own...whatever it was of wealth they were given, plenty, and was absolutely in a heaven while they were with me.
These things seems to have no base, whatsoever. The hypocrites turning against Allah and His Messenger and even teaching others to do the same. Charging evil and ugly things against the Messenger and those who is with him is one of the most wickedest things that you could ever dream of.
And even go around armed to try to even do bodily harm to the Messenger and his followers. Even after they exhaust their wicked tongues and their wicked language against the Messenger and his followers they, then, turn to resort to even trying to do evil against and his Followers with their hands and with other instruments of weapons.
This is going on, today, and going very fast. Because as I have preached to you for years that the time was at hand and that you never know, as the Holy Qur'an says to the Messenger, among you wives and among your children there is an enemy for you and be aware of them. But they are never known until Allah, Himself, makes them manifest.
I have one son and a grandson, that has turned against Allah and against Islam. They do not believe that Allah has came in Person to me, though they was born under it up until just a few days ago that this evil spirit taken hold of them to do evil against the Messenger and those who follow him.
They do not believe, now, that Allah has visited me in Person. They do not believe that I am the Messenger of Allah. They do not believe in the Teachings that I am teaching, which has come from Allah. They don't believe. They would like to set up a court of Judgment against me, the Messenger of God. They wouldn't like that God prove that he is the Judge of His own Servant, as it written in the Holy Qur'an and Bible.
In the first place, they do not believe I have met with God. They do not believe that I am the Messenger of God, regardless to thirty-three years of hard labor, prosecution and jailing, and serving time for the good Truth and Salvation that God has brought to my people and myself. They do not believe it. No!
They desire to teach people against belief, though they have eaten their bread and their meat at my table all their lives. They lived under the roof, some of them, of that roof, which is my own and family's. My family's roof, they live under it as the scripture, spoken of by David - the Prophet, prophised these things, that those that eat my bread at my own table have now lifted up their heels against me. This is the truth. He didn't have those things in his day and time, we donÕt think that. And fact about it is it can't be referring to David. It, practically, all is referring to Elijah Muhammad.
And they go about, seeking you very death of you. And teaching others to take part with them. These glibbers. These unwanted visitors among the righteous. These enemies of God and His Prophet. We are warned to forget that they ever exist. And leave them to the chastisement of Allah. Allah have said to me, in Person, to leave them alone and let Him have them. He will chastise them Himself and altogether, ban them together and chasetise the whole entire group or the Nation Himself.
Allah is well able to take care of me. My hopes is in Allah. My protection is from Allah, which has been proven for thirty-three years. My only hope and desire is Allah's mercy and favor and protection. This He has continued to give to me up to the very moment that I am speaking. And I believe that He will always take care of me and bring to a naught mine enemies and the vicious hypocrites, regardless to who they might be.
They can be of my family. They can be of your family. Whosoever they may be, they are on the road to divine chastisement, as those before them. As thoses were in 1935. They met the desert that they were trying to prepare for Elijah Muhammad and His followers in those days. And you, that is against Muhammad today will meet with the same.
It is a shame to see people having no cause, no base for their actions. To just walk out of your house. Get up from your table and turn their backs against you for evil and then teach other people to do the same. And speak the evil things that they have formed out of their hearts, which was lying dormant and they didn't know it until it actually come to pass.
They are like they 13th verse of Jude says. "Raging waves of the sea forming out their own shape. Wondering stars to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever."
I say to you, this darkness is not literally dark. It is the spiritual darkness that they fall into when that they leave the light of God and the Guide that He has appointed for them to guide them in the way of truth and righteousness, and the say of success, and the way of salvation. He has appointed The Messenger to do just that. And to warn them against a day that is coming that there will be no bargains for them.
No bargains for them on that day. Regardless to how much that they may plead to their own believing parents or brother or sister, they can not help them at the least.
These things, I warn you, that you are absolutely treading the path of those who met with their grievous destruction before you. And of the Prophets of old and the Apostles, they had such followers as you and they all ran into the same thing that you are heading to. That is your doom.
Again, the 10th verse of Jude reads like this: "But these speak evil of those things which they know not." They have not the knowledge of the truth and the knowledge of God and His Messenger. Therefore, they speak evil of it, as Jude says further in the same verse: "But what they know naturally as brute beast in those things they corrupt themselves." Then he woes unto them in the 11th verse saying, "Woe unto them, that they have gone in the way of Cain. And ran greedily after the error of veil for reward."
Cain was jealous and envious of Abel, his brother and seek to take his life and did take his life. And the barron was supposed to have been a man of knowledge, divine knowledge, who seek to crush the tents and people of Israel for a reward from the king. And he got his coming. And he had to admit it. He was struck and was confounded and was unable to even give to the king what he was seeking , that was to crush the people whom God was with and was showing favor.
And Korah, one of the proud opponets of Moses, who desired Moses' place and wanted Moses' place, complained among the people to get them on his side against Moses. That Moses did not have the right to take, upon his shoulders, the leadership of the people, since they all had knowledge of God. This wicked hypocrite went about mocking and saying things against Moses. And here he's mentioned as a warning to you, today, in the last days of this world.
They persished in an earthquake. God opened a cervise in the earth by an earthquake and they all, their whole entire families and tents, fell down in it. God is just as able to destroy you by an earthquake, today, as He did Korah, who rose up to try to challenge Moses for the leadership with other hypocrites behind him.
I say to you, the Last Messenger must suffer the things that came into life of the Prophets before him because he is the Last and He closes the book of the Prophets because he brings the people face to face with God. And face to face with the advesary of God, the devil. That the people may know these two great actors, the Gods of Righteous and Evil. That they may choose their place or their side with one or the other.
And in this time, as God Almighty, makes these things manifest to us. We see these things burning in our face. We see them in our homes, in our families. We see this in our followers and in our house of prayer and teaching of truth and in our feasts, wherein that we sit a feast with them, that actually is filling their bellies with the carnal food to try to destroy you, who are both endowed with the same food, the food that takes care of the physical part and is endowed with the spiritual food of God.
They get up from you table and walk away and hold conferences and secret conferences how to destroy you. And how to bring to a naught those that is with you. And the truth that the Messenger preaches. Here we look at them again, as the prophesy goes, the 12th verse of Jude: "These are spots in feasts of charity." They absolutely tries to prevent help coming to the Believers.
They want the people to break up from helping and aiding the Messenger. As they are mentioned in the Holy Qur'an in the 9th chapter, they wish that the people would stop helping the Messenger. But the Holy Qur'an says to the Messenger, Let them die in their rage. What? If they would cut off the help that is coming to the Messenger, they would have to go to heaven and cut it off.
And by no means, says the Holy Qur'an, will Allah give a way against the Believers by/to the hypocrites. Never will He give a disbeliever and way against the Beleiver. These things they must meet in the hard way.
I warn you, my sons. I warn you, my followers who are absolutely being tested in these last days about what Allah suffers to come upon His Messenger. You are being tested and tried and all of the weak ones will fall out and the strong ones will stand. And the Believers that is on the way in will pass by you and pay you not any attention and will continue to believe and follow in the way of Truth in Allah and His Messenger.
The 12th verse says: "When they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear..." They don't even fear what they are planning to do that it is their own destruction. "Clouds they are, without water." As a cloud without water, these are people without the spirit of Allah in them. "Carried about of winds." Winds, here, meaning other propaganda, talks of evil plannings against the Believing Muslims and the Messenger of truth to them. They are carried away with that kind of talk against the Messenger of God and his followers.
It says here, "Trees whose fruit whither, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the root." They were once dead. As the Holy Qur'an says, They did not bring about the rebelling against the Messenger until Allah and His Messenger had brought them in or taught them rather a lot of wisdom of truth. Then they raised up to take that place that they had not been chosen for by almighty God Allah. Going around lying. Telling the people that they are something that God has chosen, themselves. And that they are to take the place of the Messenger.
God does not choose two or three Messengers at one time for a Nation. He only chooses one for the Nation. He don't even choose another one after his death for a long, long time. You won't be here when that one is needed again. But in this day and time, I'll tell you, according to the word of Almighty God to me. Not that I am saying these things of myself but He says them and He bears me witness. I am your Last One for this people in the Western Hemisphere.
There will never come a Messenger after me to teach you nothing but to warn you that this is the day of judgment in which you were warned by Elijah Muhammad. This is the thing that will come upon you, now soon. And not another Messenger coming up to teach you anything.
There is nothing of God I am not teaching you that another Messenger could come and teach. The whole civilized world. The whole entire Nation of righteous. The whole Nation of scholars and scientists of religion knows that I am Teaching you of the truth of God and Warning you of an immediate Judgment in the Western Hemisphere. It shall come and it shall not delay. It is on the way and it will not tarry.
As it is written in Habakuk, It shall come and it's on its way. It is even at your doors today. When you see these things coming to pass, as it is written in the book of Matthew, the saying of Jesus, that you may know that the hour and its even at your door, when you see mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, and children turning against each other, and one accepting the truth and one accepting the way of falsehood and the enemies of God and His Messenger and His followers, this is the time of the end.
These are proofs before your eyes that I have not lied to you. The book is now being fullfilled and the Prophets sayings are being folded up because there is no more need for them because this is the end of all of it.
I have brought you in the path of the righteous. I have brought you in the way of Almighty God. I have absolutely joined you with your own kind where you were brought from in Asia and Africa with the truth. And with the diligent work of reforming you, I have brought you now hand in hand with the Islamic world today and the righteous and your people throughout Africa and Asia, whether they are Believers in Allah and Islam or not.
They all now recognize my followers as being fit to be accepted by them in their home or in their country, but you will be casted out. The hypocrites will not see this salvation. You will be rejected. Your strain will not bring you any gain at all. Your spending of much money to try to hinder the cause of the truth won't become to you. as the Holy Quran teaches you and me, an intense regret for losing that money and time trying to fight what Allah has set up and has desired and have backed up, His Messenger, for thirty-three long years to deliver to you this truth and warnings.
Twice dead, this truth raised you up into the knowledge of self and God and the devil. Now you have gone back or you are going back into the most ignorant death that ever was.
Plucked up by the roots. The second death, as the Holy Quran and Bible, both teaches you, it has no power. For you have been risen up and then you went back into your own grave, because of your disbelief.
Raging waves of the sea is a good typical example forming out their own shape. Not the shape of the righteouse sea forming out their own shame; wa,me upon His Messenger. You are b shame. Not the sham but forming out their own shame. They are the ones to suffer. I say to you that is listening and especially those who have turned hypocrite in Chicago against me. And especially, again, those two sons; my son and grandson.
These two sons of mine, I am not sorry for them if they are become enemies of mine is. I'm not anymore sorry for them than Abraham was for his disbelieving father and of Noah of his own son, who would not listen to Noah, and refused to follow Noah, but decided to take his refuge in a mountain. But before he reached the top of the mountain, Allah brought down a cloud burst on him. And there he was with those who was drowned, as the Holy Quran says.
And there's many other proofs that we have that this is nothing strange for you of this city or of the country to see a Messenger's or a man of God's own children turn against him. This is written in the Book. This is in the history of others. And this should be a lesson and also a warning to you that , doubtless, this is the end and, doubtless, this must be a man that God has given to us in the name of Elijah Muhammad.
I am not of myself. I did not take this mission of myself. It is from Almighty God, as the world knows. I have suffered. I have run and have tried to escape the evil intentions of hypocrites, back seven long years from '35 to '42.
Ran up in the arm of the chief enemy and was sent to a federal penitentary for preaching or rather to keep from having the freedom to preach to our people the truth in those days.
I suffered being deprived of being in the midst of my own family and with my own wife for seven longs years. All up and down the East Coast, I went for seven years. From Atlanta to Boston and back and forth. These people down there, they can tell you of me. I don't have to plead to you for any representation. I don't have plead to you to be no witness of me. Allah is sufficient. He is sufficient.
If I am not right and is not His Messenger, surely , in 33 years, He would have proved it, that I was not. But in,stead, 33 years has proven to the world that I am the Messenger of Allah to you and has and is still preaching to you salvation, even at the time when that you are against me and trying to pull away those who you think that is weak in the faith.
And trying to join them with you to not only to speak evil of me, but even to destroy me and those who are with me. Whether you have a reward or not. Maybe you don't need anyone to try to bribe you to do these evil things. It's just naturally in your own wicked heart, as it was in Absolom's heart, who was a bright son of David.
A very beautiful and bright young man, so the Bible teaches us, who also rose up against his father, David, to declare war and did declare war on his own father to try to destory him so that he would be the king and leader of the people. He stood in the gate, so says the
Bible, of his fathers palace, the kings house, and met the people as they would come to the king, kissing them on their hands to make them to think that he was so much better and more pure for them than his father.
All of this was brought to a naught, when he declared war on David. Regardless to his disgrace on David. Regardless to his disgrace of, who'd taken David's own wives and concubines, so the Bible says, and had relations with them in the eyes of the people on the roof of his palace.
This is the thing that is put in the Bible that you and me may take lesson from and a warning. It is not put there just for us to read to pass off time. But it is put there for learnings and for warnings to you and me today. These things is going on today against Elijah Muhammad and whosoever takes part in it will meet the same fate that those disbelieving sons and disbelieving followers of those Prophets in those days.
The God, Almigthy, is well able to take care of me. I don't even ask you to try to defend me. And I don't even hide from your threats and your evil sayings.
My conscience is clear of what you say. And I feel clear before God and He bears me witness that I am clear before Him and He have No charge against me, as it is written. But I say to you that you are on the way to your own destruction, to your own doom.
I will not treat you as you are trying to treat me. I will not let my followers take out after you and arm themselves against you as you have armed yourself against me ,to prove to you that I am Allah's Messenger. Let you arm yourself and let your own arms be your own doom. And we will not arm ourselves with nothing but the truth and the protection of Almighty God, Allah.
Many before you had arms. Many before you have did these things in the past 33 long years, against the very man that is speaking.
O Chicago! Hypocrites! I'm sorry for you.
Cain was jealous of his brother because Abel's sacrifice was accepted while his was rejected. This made Cain real jealous and envious. And when jealousy and envy entered his heart, murder also was there. He desired to see his brother destroyed. The same is in your own bloody, wicked heart today. You would like to see Elijah Muhammad destroyed. You would aid those and are aiding them, who would do such thing.
You are not satisfied to go out and leave us alone. You want to try and drag out all you possibly can that you may be strong enough to destroy Elijah Muhammad. But I say unto all of my people in Chicago, if I didn't have not one of you with me there is 4,400,000,000 of my kind on the Planet Earth.
Africa and Asia is in back of me and I don't need them. Allah is sufficient to protect me against the world's desire to destroy me. Not to think of a few little weaklings who would walk around with rocks in their pockets to try to throw and try to drag out my followers. It is alright with me, for them to go out and follow you in the same way that you are going. That will not yet hurt me. Allah has said to me, if not one of the whole 22 million of our people here in America believe me, to come on and bring Him the Key and we go. And that means what? It means that you shall be destroyed with those who are destroyed.
The time is at an end. Even there is no peace and no friendship among no one but the righteous. I warn you that you are seeking and drinking the Fire of death and don't know it. Seeking to bring yourself into the worst poverty that you ever lived in. Seeking to make your own children to go hungry and to beg and be a vagabound in the land, as David says of his son, who tried and was bent upon destroying him. He said, Let their tables be turned against them. And let their children beg bread and be vagabonds in the land.
I warn you of these things, that this is the way that you are travelling now. Allah will see to it that you shall not meet with nothing good. He shall visit you and your own children with poverty and death.
Believe me or wait until it comes to you. It will soon come. He's very swift in taking retribution against the enemies and hypocrites of his Messenger, Elijah Muhammad, as I have warned you of these things.
So I say to you that is listening this morning in Chicago, I, Elijah Muhammad, is the Messenger of Allah and have proved it to you for 33 long years. And leave me alone. If you don't like me and my followers, leave us alone. And leave us to our God, Allah, to judge us if we are wicked and is false preachers and teachers of His truth.
Leave us alone, less you are bound to run into a fire and a very hot fire at that, as He has said. And He will do it. That grieveous fire that comes up to the throat. That regreting fire. That hatred of yourself for your own evil doings and sayings shall come to you and visit you, and you won't be able to close your door against it. It shall come to your whether the door is open or closed.
Seeking to hold conference at nighta and in groups here and there the city to plan against the salvation that God has brought to you and His Messenger, who has been so benevolent to you that you have known no hard times from the day that you were born up until this day that I am speaking to you.
My sons have never known any hard times. Never had to do a hard days work to earn their bread. Never have had to seek shelter for themselves. They have been always taken care of. have been always taken care of up until this time. Now, today, Elijah will feed you with rejection as you have fed him. I thank you for listening. And take a warning from me. As I say unto you, in the Name of Allah, which means peace, As-Salaam-Alaikum.
