Sister Zakiyah's Favorite Bean Soup Recipe[Image]

2 lbs beans

2 sticks butter

1 c. grated carrots

3 medium onions

1  green pepper

        Seasoned Salt & Pepper

Wash and Separate Beans. Soak overnight. Rinse. Place all ingredients (except salt and pepper) in  pot or Pressure Cooker with enough water to cover beans and vegetables. In pot bring to boil then simmer until beans are well done. In Pressure Cooker cook twenty (20) minutes after the guage reaches 15.  Season to taste.
